The characteristics of Cork mat

Cork mats have many properties such as: stability to thickeners, liquids, compressibility of the porosity of the structure, and the like. When the rubber is added, the product itself has these characteristics.

Compressibility
The microstructure of the cork mat is composed of air-filled fine brittle, blended with rubber, and after vulcanization, it is like a lot of natural microbubbles in the rubber, so that when the product is under pressure, the body 枳 changes, when the pressure is relieved, The volume is restored, so that it acts as a buffer.

Oil resistance
The cork mat does not substantially react with the oil because the oil resistance of the cork mat is improved after the rubber is incorporated. After immersion in oil, there is a certain weight gain and thickening, but the dimensional stability of the product is good. Can be used repeatedly.

Acoustic performance
Cork mats are acoustic decoupling materials that have been used for many years and are still used today under normal or low pressure conditions.

Basic physical and mechanical properties

(1) Tensile strength of cork mats The strength of rubber vulcanizate decreases with the increase of the amount of cork in the case of the same granularity of granular cork and the amount of softwood is 10~80 parts; when the amount of cork is 80~200 parts, pull The tensile strength does not change much with the maximum increase in cork. When the amount of softwood exceeds 200 parts, the strength decreases slightly, and the product mainly reflects the performance of cork.
If the cork in the rubber is the same in the same size and the particle size is different, the coarser the particles, the greater the tensile strength decreases.

(2) Hardness of cork mat The more the number of cork blended into the rubber, the greater the hardness of the finished product. If the amount is the same, the finer the blended particles, the higher the hardness of the finished product.

(3) The elongation at break of the cork mat and the more the amount of cork in the permanent deformation rubber, the smaller the elongation at break of the test piece; if the dosage is the same, the coarser the particles of the cork are made.

The elongation of the test piece is smaller; when the amount of softwood is less than 50 parts, the permanent deformation of the test piece is between 4 and 8; when the amount is more than 50 parts, less than 150 parts, the permanent deformation is about 2; when used for cork When the amount is more than 150 parts, the permanent deformation of the test piece is only 1.
