1. Lay a moisture-proof film. In addition, the joint of the moisture-proof film must be sealed with waterproof tape, and the overlap of the joint must not be less than 20 cm, and the height of the wall should also be kept at about 5 cm to prevent the penetration of moisture and affect the service life of the floor.
2. Hit the keel. The wooden keel can be made on the moisture-proof membrane, and the large core board of the wooden keel is fixed with wooden screws, and the same level must be maintained, otherwise it will affect the paving effect of the cork floor. Of course, if you want to achieve better sound absorption, noise reduction and thermal insulation, you can also lay a layer of cork mat on the moisture-proof film, with a thickness of about 2 mm.
3. Install the floor. The installation of the lockable cork floor can start from the upper left corner of the room, using the corner of the floor buckle as the apex. When installing, use the locks around the floor to splice, and then tap it with a rubber hammer to fix it.
4. Install edge banding. After the splicing floor is spliced, it is generally necessary to install edge banding to ensure the beauty. There are two types of edge banding, which are sub-buckle edge sealing and female buckle edge sealing, which can be installed corresponding to the floor. When installing the lockable cork floor, pay attention to the length of continuous laying.
