1. Look at the color: The quality of the cork floor could be known by its color. The cork bark is divided into several layers. The outermost surface is the black skin, which is also the hardest part. The black skin is white or light yellow under the black skin. It is very soft and is the essence of cork. If cork floor has softwood extract, the quality will be better. Of course, since the floor is subject to weight and pressure, it is normal to use black skin on the floor back, which improves the impact of resistance.
2. Look at density: The density of cork floor is divided into three levels: 400-450 kg/m3; 450-500 kg/m3; more than 500 kg/m3. Generally, 400-450 kg/m3 is enough for households. If there are heavy objects in the room, you can choose a slightly higher one. In short, you can choose a floor with low density or try to choose a high density because it has better elasticity, heat preservation and sound absorption, vibration absorption.
3. Look at the surface: We should check whether the sanding surface of the floor is smooth, whether there are bulging particles, and whether the cork particles are pure. Whether the side length is straight or not, the method is: take 4 pieces of the same floor, spread it on the glass or the flat ground, and assemble it to see if it is seamed. Inspect the bending strength of the panel surface by closing the two diagonal lines of the floor and seeing whether the curved surface is cracked or not. Finally, the gluing strength test is carried out, and the small piece of cork floor is placed in the boiling water bubble, and it is found that the smooth surface of the sanding becomes uneven, which is a non-conforming product, and the surface of high quality product should be without obvious change.
